Serving children and adults with developmental disabilities, RAD Camp ensures that every participant is treated with respect, while encouraging independence, growth, and most importantly, FUN! At Camp, we focus on each camper’s ability – not disability – and are dedicated to making sure each participant has a wonderful time in a safe and caring environment. There is no requirement or restriction regarding residency and participation and no camper is ever turned away due to an inability to pay!
Information regarding applications will be mailed to all Returning Campers in January 2020. Applications and Registration Fees are due by April 15, 2020. Please be sure to complete your application on time to save your spot. The Medical Form and Proof of Immunizations can be sent directly after you have met with a licensed physician. All Medical Forms are due 2 weeks before your designated Camp and you will receive a packing list, directions and more details a few weeks before your Camp session.
***Note: We apologize as the waiting list to become a RAD Camper is currently closed. We are actively working to add spots to our camps and remove campers from the current list to active campers. We will open the list as soon as possible.***
We would like to remind everyone that our Camp policy is that all campers and volunteers must be current on immunizations. That being said, all participants are required to scan and email a copy of their immunization record to the RAD Leadership Team. Here is our list of required immunizations: Tdap or Td, Hib, Polio (IPV), Hepatitis B (HepB), MMR and Varicella (VAR).
If you are not able to send us a copy of the participant’s immunizations record, you are required to send proof of a Titer Test, which is a laboratory blood test that verifies the presence of certain antibodies in the blood stream.
We truly appreciate your cooperation and support as we ensure a safe environment for all campers and volunteers at Camp!
