VOLUNTEERS

RAD Camp is a volunteer run non-profit organization. At RAD, we offer one-on-one attention with a 1:1 ratio of camper to counselor, and our family of volunteer counselors and staff provide the very best care and enthusiasm for our campers. Each volunteer comes highly recommended and goes through personalized interviews and a background check. Once a volunteer arrives at Camp, they receive training in communication, behavior modification and basic first aid.

RETURNING VOLUNTEERS

Returning Volunteers, who have already participated in RAD, Mini or JR., will receive an email with a link to our Campwise online registration platform in February. The deadline to register for all summer camps is in March. If you have not received the link, please contact us immediately! ***Please note that you will be receiving a brand new registration link for our remote program in May.***

NEW VOLUNTEER COUNSELORS

Are you 16 or older and wanting to create friendships and memories that last a lifetime? Are you outgoing, fun loving and selfless? If so, Camp is for you! Please download our 2020 New Volunteer Application and email your completed application as a PDF packet to Camp@RADCamp.org by Friday, May 1st to be considered for our remote program. The revised application requirements include an Application Form, One Page Letter and One Letter of Recommendation. ***Please note that the remote program will be hosted from June 28th to July 4th.***

IMMUNIZATION POLICY

We would like to remind everyone that our Camp policy is that all campers and volunteers must be current on immunizations. That being said, all participants are required to upload a copy of their immunization record. Here is our list of required immunizations: Tdap or Td, Hib, Polio (IPV), Hepatitis B (HepB), MMR and Varicella (VAR).

If you are not able to upload a copy of the participant’s immunizations record, you are required to upload proof of a Titer Test, which is a laboratory blood test that verifies the presence of certain antibodies in the blood stream.

We truly appreciate your cooperation and support as we ensure a safe environment for all campers and volunteers at Camp!
